The “Kiss From a Rose” singer recently shared a touching photo of him cuddling up to Leni as they smiled for the camera during a trip in New York City, reflecting on his relationship with the 19-year-old, with whom he shares with his ex-wife Heidi Klum.
The 60-year-old’s September 4 Instagram image was captioned, “In NY with the young woman that changed my life for the better 19 years ago.” Leni, I’m grateful to you for improving me. -Papa, I love you.
So cute!,” Leni wrote in response to her father’s warm compliments. Father, I adore you.
However, the “Crazy” musician is no stranger to expressing his admiration for his oldest; in fact, he lauded the model earlier in March for continuing in the supermodel mother’s footsteps.
At the time, Seal said to Justin Sylvester & Adrienne Bailon Houghton on E! News, “I’m so proud of everything that Leni has done.”But I’m more pleased with everything she has accomplished.
He continued, “She has an intuitive awareness of people in general and people’s feelings. She moves through life with a kind of humility that helps her to navigate everything so smoothly. I’m therefore even more impressed by everything about her.
With Heidi, Seal is the father to Henry, 17, Johan, 16, and Lou, 13, and he recently reflected on his years of co-parenting Leni.
As a parent, “I’d like to think that we’ve instilled some of that in her—between her mother and myself,” he continued. But she’s quite wonderful and I can’t say enough good things about her.
After the pair collaborated on a picture shoot for a 2022 Intimissimi lingerie ad campaign, Heidi—who has since fallen in love with Tokio Hotel singer Tom Kaulit—also offered her opinion on her daughter’s burgeoning modeling career.
In March, Heidi told People, “I’m extremely proud of my daughter along with her modeling.” She is already juggling as she studies at the same time.
